Success comes from believing that you will succeed. This doesn’t mean that you are blindsided and that you don’t predict problems or set goals that are unrealistic, instead use your self belief to create positive behaviors.

 

Know that when you set any goal, you will make mistakes, get it wrong, this knock back, for some, will stop them dead in their tracks. But success comes from the belief that you will learn from every experience, from the belief  that will develop with every experience and from the belief that no matter what the set back, that you will get up and have another go.

 

Believing that you will grow and learn is the first secret of increasing your self esteem.

When wanting to make big changes we tend to get excited about future possibilities.

 

We set new goals and then your mind checks the reality. You foresee potential potholes, you create new goals and you make a list of the resources you require. Together these potholes, goals and resources can collectively seem overwhelming.

 

Instead of focusing on everything all at once, focus on one or two goals and achieve them before you start the next. Tackle one problem at a time and work on gaining one required resource before the next.

 

Each achieved goal creates higher levels of mental motivation increasing your self esteem.

Focusing on a new goal creates desire – you want the outcome of the goal….NOW

 

To gain your goal you have to work, work, work. This overworking can tier you out mentally as well as physically. You work best when you are in the right motivated frame of mind.

 

Ensure you make time to relax, mediate, off load. Having time to relax, to take time away from work, is highly beneficial as you get to recharge your batteries. This recharge increases self esteem, with an increase in self esteem you increase your productivity

Create Choice.

 

As you start to increase your self esteem, you start to increase your choices

 

With an increase in self esteem, you start to go out more, you start to focus on more goals, activities and opportunities, you start to find new options. It is easy at first to say yes to everything, to give everything ago.

 

Instead pick the options suitable to your life plan. Instead of focusing on 10 options choose 3-4 that will give you the best impact.

 

Success Secret 5

Focus on your talents, qualities and natural strengths

 

Spend time at least once a month, but ideally once a week to focus and reflect on your key skills, your uniqueness and your temperament.

 

By understanding what you are naturally good at increase self esteem. As you develop and grow you will continue to naturally notice new skills and qualities that you have gained, increasing your self esteem.
