When you are stressed and overthinking the brain isn’t effective. This can lead to procrastination which increases your stress creating a negative cycle.
This negative cycle effects the workings of your brain. Examples of this include a negative effect on their short term memory, creativity and emotional state.
By stopping, taking ten long deep breaths while visualizing a beauty and peaceful place you can change the chemistry in your brain allowing parts of the mind to relax and shut down.
It is this state that allows you to recharge your batteries, to get that energy back.

Because your mind processes billions of pieces of data and stimulus each day, your mind needs to close down the conscious section of the brain to delete or store these memories.
