When you wake in a bad mood it is easy to blame others; the boss, your partner, or your pet cat. Its never your fault!
To turn around the emotional tide you to take responsibility and steer your ship to a emotional happy port.
In general most people won’t take responsibility for their emotional start to the day. In fact we look for, search and seek someone or something to blame. This takes the focus of yourself.
But if you take responsibility you can take action “I’m not feeling good today, what can I do about it? What action can I take?” This conscious choice takes away the subconscious automatic start to the day.
Waking up on the wrongside of the bed – Get Busy
The problem with waking up on the wrongside of the bed, is that you procrastinate
To get motivated, you need to get busy as momentum creates motivation. To beat the bad mood get busy. Make a quick list of 10 things you need to do and then, this is a little motivational trick, do the easiest task/activity first.
By “doing” you do yourself out of the bad-mood, your emotional state changes and your focus is “take action”
Waking up on the wrongside of the bed – Look at the Positives
We all know that a glass can be either half full or half empty – the choice of perspective is yours.
In all situations you have a choice; you can complain or you can look at the positive. Complaining can have a very short term release (as does blaming others) but it will never help you achieve your goal. Instead look at the solutions, the learning curve, the positives
When you train your mind like this, you evolve creating new strategies that guide you through the obstacles of life. Evolve your mind and live the life plan you desire.
