Stress is a killer

 

When stressed you physically, mentally and biologically change. Stressed creates procrastination, depression and worry. The glass is always half empty when stressed, you are more likely to miss opportunities,  make mistakes and choose the wrong option.

 

Basically the less stress the better. Stress is good for identifying when you need a new approach. At this stage you need to know the 3 ways to destroy your stress

Stop!

 

When stressed you overthink the same worry, this overthinking creates stress.

 

When you notice that your stress level is increasing, stop, take a deep breath. this simple act breaks the pattern of stress. By breaking the pattern, you can choose your next action.

 

When you overthink your conscious mind in turn on, not only that, the conscious mind is in overdrive. To destroy the stress you need a technique that quietens down the voice in your head. By meditating or using self hypnosis, you take yourself into a dreamlike state, this is your subconscious mind taking control, allowing your subconscious to turn off and sleep.

 

It is this relaxed state that will evolve your mind, breaking the association between a stimulus and stress.

This one is so simple I don’t know why everyone doesn’t do it?

 

Your body feeds your mind. If your body is healthy, nourished and kept fed regularly with vegetables, fruit, water….the things you all know is good for you, then your mind will in-turn be well fed

 

 

A healthy body equals a healthy mind. To destroy stress you need an intake of H20, Vitim B and C, feed the body, feed the mind. When you feel alive you are in more control of your thoughts, motivation and stress levels

Increase resilience

 

Whatever your goal or objective is, when working towards it, you will at some point make mistakes, get wrong or fall behind.

 

It is easy to get stressed at this point. Sometimes the stress will rise and fall within minutes. This happens when you fight through. With resilience you can the tough get tougher, and goals get completed.

 

Sometimes though you need to be aware of the levels of stress. Is stress is increasing either meditate or increase your resilience.    To increase resilience ask yourself what 3 things do I need to do to achieve my objective?

 

Knowledge is power and power is motivation. With this knowledge, you next need to know what you are capable off. Ask yourself, what skills, qualities and experiences do I have that can help with this situation?

 

Finally, momentum increase motivation. Pick an easy step and take action straight away. While in a productive mode, you will no longer be in a stressed emotional state
