Learn about the real you

 

People respond differently in different situations. An introvert who keeps himself to himself, can in a survival situation be the one who takes control and becomes a leader that others respect.

 

When you step out of your comfort zone and try something new, you start to learn about your hidden skills, qualities and personality traits.

 

We all have a range of skills, but because many of us stay within our comfort zone, you don’t really uncover these hidden talents. As you learn about the hidden you, you can draw on those skills and others when desired

Create Energy

 

Doing the norm, is boring.

 

Do you arrive home from work and simply watch TV? This boring routine is sapping your energy. Step out of your comfort zone, try something new. This could be anything from a life drawing class to public speaking.

 

Whatever the activity is doesn’t really matter. What happens by trying new activities (as well as having the opportunity to meet new people) is that your energy levels increase. This new energized you is more productive, the energy gained from trying something new can be used for other task

The new becomes the old

 

By trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone you become a master of many things (and live through new experiences)

 

This learning curve you are constantly on, helps you in new unexpected situations – your reaction isn’t fear, rather you learn to see the unexpected as a challenge.

 

Trying new things also improves your skills, these skills through trying other new things compound, helping you to evolve quicker
