3 Steps To Find Your Passion
You can live your passion.
In today world it is easy to find, live and even get paid for your passion. First you need to find or create your passion.
People often believe that you are born with a passion, or from birth you are destined to be a master in a certain sector. The truth is, experiences create our map of the world and we often fall into a niche, only then realising that this role creates passion.
Step 1 To Find Your Passion
Throughout your life you will have a number of experiences; some good, some bad and some ugly. Each experience compounds your skills, shapes who you and develops you (often through the mistakes you make)
Often, you will enjoy a task, skill or a particular part from a specific role. A new role helps you locate another liked task, increases your skills or helps you to identify another specific role you enjoy.
Often it is a random encounter, rather then a seeked profession, where you have that light bulb moment – this is my destiny, i have found my goal in life, my passion. But without your past experiences, where you have experimented, tested ideas and concepts, roles and task, your light bulb woulnt have shinned so bright.
Step 2 To Find Your Passion
An idea strikes you…this could be it!!
With a new idea, a potential you passion, you get excited. But you don’t wont to get it wrong, you’ve been looking for your passion for a long time. To check, you research this idea, read the theories and principles, ask others their opinion, check that you have the skills and experience and before long the idea fades away, your motivation dwindles
The only way to find your passion is to give it ago. Even if this “go” helps you to realise that this isn’t quite the right fit for you. You have to take action, try different approaches and give it a go. Know finds there passion just in thought, the reality of being hands-on helps you to know, at a deep level, if this is your passion
Step 3 To Find Your Passion
Your passion doesn’t just come from the activity
Your passion is more then just a task, its the values and beliefs associated to this task. If you realise that your passion is supporting others, you may find a career that meets this passion. Depending on the organsiation you maybe lose or increase your motivation.
A job helping people has a different emotional effect if the companies goal is to make money compared to a company who will do whatever they can to support deprived people.
Think about the specifics of your passion; the task, your values and your belief
